The H.A.P.P.Y. (Homework Assistance Program Preparing Youth) initiative is a cornerstone of the Arizona Guide Right Foundation’s commitment to supporting academic success and personal growth among young students. Designed for grades 1–5, the program focuses on improving reading, math, and study skills through consistent mentoring and guided instruction.
Each week, dedicated volunteers work closely with students to provide individualized academic support, helping them build confidence and develop a strong foundation for future learning. Beyond academics, the program also incorporates enrichment activities that encourage creativity, teamwork, and personal development.
Through the H.A.P.P.Y. program, students have shown measurable improvements in both reading and math skills, demonstrating the impact of structured support and mentorship. The initiative also includes special efforts such as mid-year backpack distributions, ensuring students have the tools they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
The Arizona Guide Right Foundation remains committed to expanding this program and continuing to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners and their communities.
